For several decades, Sierra Photography Studios has been the official senior yearbook photographer for Burroughs High School. We perform this service at no cost to you or the school.  Senior yearbook portrait sessions are all taken at the school. In preparation, we email all parents and seniors (at their school email address) a letter with all the details. This letter, and a schedule with the date and time for every senior's photo appointment can be viewed and download at the link on the right side of this page. Information on rescheduling your appointment time is given below.

Your Free Senior Yearbook Portrait Session

All you have to do to receive this free service is follow these instructions and come in for your scheduled senior yearbook portrait session at the school. An information letter, and schedule with the date and time for every senior's photo appointment can be viewed and download at the link on the right side of this page.   

What if you didn't make it to your scheduled Portrait Session?

Don't worry, your appointment has been rescheduled to Make Up Day on Friday, October 24. See the schedule in the link above and the right side of this page.

How to view your Yearbook Portrait Images

After your free portrait session, it's easy, quick, and FREE to preview your images! Just click the link at the top or right side of this page. All you have to do is enter your email address and create a personal password. With your account, you be able to save your favorite images and then come back later to compare multiple images. You can also submit your yearbook pose selection or place a print package order. It really is that easy!

Selecting Your Favorite Pose for Use in the Yearbook

While viewing your senior portrait previews online, you can select your favorite pose to be published in the 2026 BHS Yearbook. You'll find easy instructions on selecting and submitting your selection in the online  preview gallery. It's easy and you can do it completely online, in only minutes. Once your yearbook pose selection is submitted you will be emailed a confirmation on your selection. If you do not select a pose by the deadline, one will be carefully selected for you and submitted for publication in the yearbook.

Retakes are Available on Make Up Day

If for any reason you don't like your first set of poses, you can choose drop in on Makeup Day, Friday October 24th for an additional set of poses (see the Make Up Day Schedule for times). There is a $5 charge for this service.  If you miss coming in on Make Up Day, we're sorry but retakes after Makeup Day must be done in a private scheduled portrait session. See the note below for retakes after the Makeup Day.

Retakes and Additional Poses After Make Up Day

We can schedule a private appointment for retakes in our studio. There is a $25 fee for this service. To arrange a studio session, email us by  CLICKING HERE TO CONTACT US  or, call us at 760-446-4002 and leave a message that you need to schedule a private yearbook portrait session.

What if you can't come in on the Make Up Day?

If you couldn't come on the final Make Up Photo Day at school Friday, October 24th, you can still be included in the yearbook if you take action quickly. We can schedule a private appointment for you in our studio. There is a $25 fee for this service and boys may need to arrange to rent a tuxedo shirt, tie, and black jacket or, as an alternative you can wear a plain white dress shirt with black tie and black suit jacket.
